Air Receiver
Air receiver, also known as pressure vessel or storage tank, it mainly used to store compressed air, it have following function:
◆ Store compressed air;
◆ Buffer pressure, due to compressor discharged air pressure fluctuations, after air receiver, compressed air will be more stable at gas side.
◆ Drain water, water vapor in the air form to liquid after compressed by compressor, most of these water droplets will deposit at the bottom of air receiver, and they will be discharged by drain valve automatically or manually.
Model Interpretation & Selection:
Example: C-0.3/8
“C” means air receiver;
“0.3” is the capacity of 0.3 M3;
“8” means maximum working pressure is 8 bar.
The optional air receiver pressure should be consistent with compressor working pressure, receiver volume size should be about 1/5-1/10 of the air flow of compressor; certainly, larger volume air receiver will help to store more compressed air and better to dewater.
